Nice location, right next to the beach. Very friendly staff. Southwest Chicken Sandwich: 4/5. Fresh ingredients with rotisserie and chipotle mayo make this a winner.
Sandwiches and burgers were tasty. I loved the endless soda fountain refills and the multiple freezers filled with tasty frozen treats. The location is ideal because of the proximity to the beach. They are also super friendly to all people (ie. half naked in swimsuits) and dogs! We brought of little pupper and he was able to enjoy the patio with us during lunchtime. The patio itself isn't huge but it accommodates a good amount of people. There are umbrellas to keep you shaded from the sun. Pro tips: parking can be a pain because the beach is so popular. The bathroom is single stall and very cramped but it beats using the public restroom across the street.
Great location by Rio Del Mar beach. All seating is outside. We came in on a Saturday at lunch time, when seating was full, but by the time our order was ready we had a table. The Turkey Club Sandwich on sourdough hit the spot! The Philly cheesesteak was unfortunately lacking in meat. We will not order that again. There are lots of other menu options and a dessert case too. Check them out! Perfect for lunch on the beach.
Whenever I'm in Aptos to do gravel bike rides in the Forest of Nisene Marks State Park, I always make it a priority to stop here after rides! They have a good selection of sandwiches, salads, and beers. (The food is good!) The staff is always nice and I've had a few quick interactions with who I think is the owner. He's also nice!
Awesome location, with delicious burritos pick your filling. They sell beer and huge variety of drinks, I also tried a blueberry muffin and it was delicious . Staff are polite and friendly, would love to see a little update to the place , patio area is a bit run down definitely needs a power wash.
We were looking for a place to have lunch near Seacliff State Beach and Pixie Deli popped up on our map. We headed over there and loved that it was easy to find street parking and it was pretty much right at the beach! This is a popular place with a laid-back California vibe that has been here over 50 years. It has a market but we were here for the sandwiches! I had a Wild Salmon sandwich which is served hot on a roll with pesto mayo, lettuce, tomato, and onion. Fresh, simple, delicious! I immediately knew I would recreate this one at home (and will likely do just that today). The prices online are lower than what they actually are these days but I think the location, service, and quality of the food make it worth coming here. They even offer breakfast items, salads, burgers, soups, and beer! If we were staying nearby, relaxing here with a good meal in their outdoor patio would have been the perfect place to spend after a day on the beach.
